Cataclysm

Cataclysm, born in Gera and grown up in a small village near his birth place, took his first steps in producing electronic music around 2004. He was fascinated by the early days of analogue sound synthesis. From Leon Theremin's Ätherophon also known as Thereminovox (1919) to Robert Moog's numerous inventions, like the voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) and his first fully functional synthesizers. With the basis of a pentium 4 computer and a software synthesizer he started to build his own sounds. Infected by artists like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and Amon Tobin he tried to evolve his own style.
